16 ⁿYou shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not ^ostand up against the life¹ of your neighbor: I am the Lord.

The People Complain

1 And ^tthe people complained in the hearing of the Lord about their misfortunes, and when the Lord heard it, ^uhis anger was kindled, and ^vthe fire of the Lord burned among them and consumed some outlying parts of the camp.

14 Do all things ^jwithout grumbling or ^kdisputing,

9 Do not grumble against one another, brothers, ⁿso that you may not be judged; behold, ^othe Judge is standing ^pat the door.
