Job 38:12–15

12  Have you ccommanded the morning since your days began,

and caused the dawn to know its place,

13  that it might take hold of dthe skirts of the earth,

and the wicked be eshaken out of it?

14  It is changed like clay under the seal,

and its features stand out like a garment.

15  From the wicked their flight is withheld,

and gtheir uplifted arm is broken.

Revelation 12:9–10

And tthe great dragon was thrown down, uthat ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, vthe deceiver of the whole worldwhe was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, Now xthe salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers1 has been thrown down, ywho accuses them day and night before our God.

Isaiah 14:12–15

12  How dyou are fallen from heaven,

O Day Star, eson of Dawn!

How you are cut down to the ground,

you who laid the nations low!

13  You said in your heart,

fI will ascend to heaven;

above the stars of God

gI will set my throne on high;

I will sit on the mount of assembly

in the far reaches of the north;1

14  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;

I will make myself like the Most High.

15  hBut you are brought down to Sheol,

to the far reaches of the pit.

Ezekiel 28:16–18

16  In the abundance of myour trade

you were filled with violence in your midst, and you sinned;

so I cast you as a profane thing from kthe mountain of God,

and I destroyed you,1 jO guardian cherub,

from the midst of the stones of fire.

17  nYour heart was proud because of oyour beauty;

you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor.

I cast you to the ground;

I exposed you before kings,

to feast their eyes on you.

18  By the multitude of your iniquities,

in the unrighteousness of your trade

you profaned your sanctuaries;

so pI brought fire out from your midst;

it consumed you,

and I turned you to ashes on the earth

qin the sight of all who saw you.
