30 So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel,1 saying, “For mI have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.”
22 Then Gideon perceived that he was the angel of the Lord. And Gideon said, m“Alas, O Lord God! For now I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face.”
4 The Lord spoke with you zface to face at the mountain, out of the midst of the fire,
10 And there has not qarisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, rwhom the Lord knew face to face,
35 pAnd I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, qand there I will enter into judgment with you rface to face.
11 Say to them, iAs I live, declares the Lord God, jI have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; kturn back, turn back from your evil ways, kfor why will you die, O house of Israel?
