Ephesians 6:10–12

The Whole Armor of God

16 In all circumstances take up uthe shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all vthe flaming darts of wthe evil one;


1 Timothy 3:6–7

He must not be a recent convert, or he may fbecome puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover, he must be well thought of by goutsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, into ha snare of the devil.

Some Will Depart from the Faith

Now xthe Spirit expressly says that yin later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to zdeceitful spirits and teachings of demons,


2 Timothy 2:24–26

24 And rthe Lord’s servant1 must not be quarrelsome but skind to everyone, table to teach, patiently enduring evil, 25 correcting his opponents uwith gentleness. God vmay perhaps grant them repentance wleading to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and they may come to their senses and escape from xthe snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.
