6 So that day Achish gave him ^yZiklag. Therefore Ziklag has belonged to the kings of Judah to this day.

7 ^zAnd the number of the days that David lived in the country of the Philistines was a year and four months.

14 ^gWe had made a raid against the Negeb of ^hthe Cherethites and against that which belongs to Judah and against the Negeb of Caleb, and we burned Ziklag with fire.”

26 When David came to Ziklag, he sent part of the spoil to his friends, the elders of Judah, saying, “Here is a present for you from the spoil of the enemies of the Lord.”
