10 For you, O God, have ltested us;
you have tried us as silver is tried.
12 you let men nride over our heads;
we went through fire and through owater;
yet you have brought us out to a place of abundance.
10 Behold, I have refined you, nbut not as silver;
2 But lwho can endure the day of his coming, and who can stand when he appears? For mhe is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap. 3 He will sit nas a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and they will bring oofferings in righteousness to the Lord.1
7 so that qthe tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes rthough it is tested by sfire—may be found to result in tpraise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
