Balaam’s Donkey and the Angel

22 But God’s anger was kindled because he went, ^yand the angel of the Lord took his stand in the way ^zas his adversary. Now he was riding on the donkey, and his two servants were with him.

16 And David lifted his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and heaven, and in his hand a drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, ⁿclothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.
