Christ Came to Fulfill the Law

17 ^p“Do not think that I have come to abolish ^qthe Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but ^rto fulfill them.

4 For ^eChrist is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.¹

17 ^kThese are a shadow of the things to come, but ^lthe substance belongs to Christ.

9 (which is symbolic for the present age).¹ According to this arrangement, gifts and sacrifices are offered ^dthat cannot perfect the conscience of the worshiper, 10 but deal only with ^efood and drink and ^fvarious washings, regulations for the body imposed until the time of reformation.
