29 ^kIf your right eye ^lcauses you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into ^mhell. 30 ^kAnd if your right hand ^lcauses you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. 7 just as ^qSodom and Gomorrah and ^rthe surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and ^spursued unnatural desire,¹ serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

12 These are hidden reefs^{1 c}at your love feasts, as they feast with you without fear, ^dshepherds feeding themselves; ^ewaterless clouds, ^fswept along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, ^guprooted;

11 And ^zthe smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and ^athey have no rest, day or night, these ^uworshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”
