16 and you take of ^atheir daughters for your sons, and their daughters ^ywhore after their gods and make your sons whore after their gods.

3 ^kYou shall not intermarry with them, giving your daughters to their sons or taking their daughters for your sons,

12 ^aTherefore do not give your daughters to their sons, neither take their daughters for your sons, and never seek their peace or prosperity, that you may be strong and eat the good of the land ^band leave it for an inheritance to your children forever.’
