Deuteronomy 4:25

25 When you father children and children’s children, and have grown old in the land, lif you act corruptly by making a carved image in the form of anything, and mby doing what is evil in the sight of the Lord your God, so as to provoke him to anger,


Deuteronomy 9:18

18 Then I xlay prostrate before the Lord yas before, forty days and forty nights. I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all the sin that you had committed, zin doing what was evil in the sight of the Lord to provoke him to anger.


Deuteronomy 32:16

16  tThey stirred him to jealousy with strange gods;

with abominations they provoked him to anger.


Deuteronomy 32:21

21  bThey have made me jealous with what is no god;

they have provoked me to anger cwith their idols.

So dI will make them jealous with those who are no people;

I will provoke them to anger with ea foolish nation.


1 Kings 16:7
