13 And the Lord will make you ^jthe head and not the tail, and you shall only go up and not down, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, being careful to do them,

21 ^sSolomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the ^tEuphrates¹ to the land of the Philistines and to the border of Egypt. ^uThey brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.

24 For he had dominion over all the region west of the Euphrates¹ from Tiphsah to ^vGaza, over all the kings west of the Euphrates. ^wAnd he had peace on all sides around him.

20 And mighty kings have been over Jerusalem, ^ywho ruled over the whole province Beyond the River, to whom ^ztribute, custom, and toll were paid.
