38 ^rJoshua the son of Nun, ^rwho stands before you, he shall enter. ^sEncourage him, for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.

28 But ^ucharge Joshua, and encourage and strengthen him, for he shall go over at the head of this people, and he shall put them in possession of the land that you shall see.’

18 So the Lord said to Moses, “Take ^pJoshua the son of Nun, a man ^qin whom is the Spirit, and ^rlay your hand on him.

21 And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall inquire for him ^uby the judgment of the Urim before the Lord. At his word they shall go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the people of Israel with him, the whole congregation.”
