Deuteronomy 1:3

eIn the fortieth year, on the first day of the eleventh month, Moses spoke to the people of Israel according to all that the Lord had given him in commandment to them,


Deuteronomy 8:2

And you shall remember the whole way that the Lord your God has led you wthese forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, xtesting you yto know what was in your heart, zwhether you would keep his commandments or not.


Deuteronomy 8:4

dYour clothing did not wear out on you and your foot did not swell these forty years.


Amos 2:10

10  aAlso it was I who brought you up out of the land of Egypt

band led you forty years in the wilderness,

xto possess the land of the Amorite.


Acts 13:18
