16 So Paul stood up, and umotioning with his hand said:

“Men of Israel and vyou who fear God, listen.

33 Some of the crowd prompted Alexander, whom the Jews had put forward. And Alexander, kmotioning with his hand, wanted to make a defense to the crowd.

40 And when he had given him permission, Paul, standing on the steps, umotioned with his hand to the people. And when there was a great hush, he addressed them in vthe Hebrew language,1 saying:
