1 Kings 21:29

29 Have you seen how Ahab has humbled himself before me? Because he has humbled himself before me, I will not bring the disaster in his days; rbut in his son’s days I will bring the disaster upon his house.


2 Chronicles 12:6–7

Then the princes of iIsrael and the king humbled themselves and said, jThe Lord is righteous. When the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah: kThey have humbled themselves. I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance, land my wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.


2 Chronicles 32:26

26 But Hezekiah zhumbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the Lord did not come upon them in the days of Hezekiah.
