8 From the Gadites there went over to David at the stronghold in the wilderness mighty and experienced warriors, expert with shield and spear, whose faces were like the faces of lions and who were fswift as gazelles upon the mountains:

28 otheir arrows are sharp,
all their bows bent,
their horses’ hoofs seem like flint,
and their wheels plike the whirlwind.
29 Their roaring is like a lion,
like young lions they roar;
they growl and qseize their prey;
they carry it off, and none can rescue.
